MOTORCYCLE COUNCIL BEGINS THREE YEAR CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
The Motorcycle & Moped Industry Council has begun a three-year advertising campaign called "Why I Ride" that displays the range of individuals who ride motorcycles. The intention of the campaign is to promote motorcycling in Canada. The first phase involves four people who describe their passion for motorcycling: Member of Parliament Deborah Grey, lawyer George Addy, firefighter Tim O'Dacre and chef Christina Barone. Postcards carrying pictures of these four will be distributed at motorcycle shows in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal and Quebec City. The cards will also be inserted in city magazines during show days in those cities. As the campaign continues new subjects will be added. The campaign was developed by AssociationsOnly of Toronto.
