MELITTA READYING NATIONAL MARKETING CAMPAIGN

Toronto-based Melitta Canada, maker of coffee, coffee filters and coffeemakers, is planning a national marketing campaign to promote its coffee products in the new year. JAN Kelley Marketing will handle advertising, The Carlisle Group will handle public relations and promotions, and Strategeze will handle marketing. The campaign has a budget of $1.8 million. It will include a marketing kit that will be sent to retailers nationally. The kit will use the tagline "Everyday Indulgence." It will contain media buy schedules, a CD-ROM, a T-shirt and a coffee mug. The tagline will also be used in radio ads, television banners, magazine advertising, Internet promotion, public relations, consumer promotions, in-store activities and sampling programs. The campaign will break on Feb. 2 in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal.
