ADS SAY BUSINESS IS GOOD ON THE ROCK

The Newfoundland Department of Industry, Trade and Technology is using advertising to attract businesses. The department will launch a national TV campaign in mid-April to build a positive perception of Newfoundland and Labrador as business locations. The print portion of the campaign began last week. The ad shows a drain on the first page with the words: "If you think the future of business in Newfoundland and Labrador is headed here..." The second page contains the headline "Think Again" and a list of reasons why businesses should locate in the province. The campaign was created by Bristol Communications of St. John's, Nfld.
