TORONTO AD AGENCIES PREPARE FOR CHARITY RACE

Staff from a number of Toronto advertising agencies will compete in a fundraising event called the "Ad-mazing Race" on Nov. 20. So far, teams from Cossette, Downtown Partners, FCB, Leo Burnett, Lowe Roche, MacLaren McCann, Ogilvy & Mather, Palmer Jarvis DDB and Rapp Collins have confirmed their participation. The two-person teams will take part in a four-hour puzzle-solving race through six checkpoints in downtown Toronto to an unknown finish line. The proceeds from entrance fees and pledges will be donated to the United Way. Interested readers are invited to contact Cossette Communication Group, the organizer of the event, for entry details.
