WAKEHAM TO HANDLE SPONSORSHIPS FOR EXHIBITION PLACE, NATIONAL TRADE CENTRE

Wakeham & Associates Marketing of Toronto has been hired to provide sponsorship marketing services for Exhibition Place and the National Trade Centre in Toronto. The agency will develop a sponsorship sales strategy and solicit bidders for the venue naming rights to the National Trade Centre. Exhibition Place is a 192-acre entertainment venue. The National Trade Centre is a trade and consumer show facility. Events hosted at these venues include the Canadian National Exhibition, the Molson Indy, the National Home Show and the One-of-a-Kind craft show. Diane Young, general manager for Exhibition Place, said "(Wakeham's) expertise in sponsorship marketing and venue naming coupled with their enthusiasm and marketplace knowledge will prove invaluable in soliciting the right marketing partners for our property."
