QUEBECOR MEDIA ACQUIRES LES EDITIONS CEC

Quebecor Media of Montreal has become the sole shareholder of textbook publisher Les Editions CEC of Anjou, QC. Quebecor Media purchased the 50% of Les Editions CEC it did not own from Hachette Livre, the only other stockholder. No financial details are known. Les Editions CEC publishes educational materials, reference works and its own titles. The publisher is also the Canadian distributor for various Hachette Education publications.
