PFIZER HOLDS OLD POLYSPORIN CONTEST

Pfizer Consumer Group of Toronto is searching for the oldest tube of Polysporin as part of an awareness campaign about expired medications. Called "The Great Polysporin Hunt," the contest will run until Nov. 30 at <http://www.polysporin.ca>. The Canadian who submits the oldest tube of the antibiotic ointment will win a Hewlett-Packard 735 digital camera and a 7150 photo printer. Nine secondary prizes of $150 gift certificates will also be awarded to entrants with tubes from various date ranges. Pfizer has also placed printable coupon on its Web site to encourage consumers to replace expired tubes of Polysporin. The coupon will also be placed in the November issues of Chatelaine, Flare and Today's Parent magazines as part of the campaign's print component. Media buying was handled by Bates Canada of Toronto and Rogers Media.
