TTC CONTINUES TRANSIT CAMPAGIN

The Toronto Transit Commission has begun a new advertising campaign aimed at the city's drivers. The goal of the effort is to get people out of their cars and into transit vehicles. It continues with the work of a similar campaign that ran last fall. That initiative listed the items a consumer could buy with the money saved by taking the TTC. The second phase of advertising began a six-week run on Sept. 15. It consists of ads on TTC buses, streetcars, subway cars and Allen Road bridge signs. The campaign also includes messages on subway Metron displays and the public address system, plus materials at the <http://www.ttc.ca> Web site. Brochures have also been produced and are being distributed on TTC vehicles. These contain a cost calculator tool. The calculator also appears online and in newspaper advertising in Metro Toronto. The advertising was created by Flavour of Toronto.
