AWARDS SHOW RECAP

Three Canadian agencies have recently won awards at U.S. competitions. Grapheme/Koo of Vancouver won a gold award at the 2003 International ARC Awards in New York. The design firm won in the telecommunications broadband provider category for its work on the Manitoba Telecom Services 2002 Annual Report. Kolégramdesign of Quebec took the top award at the American Institute of Graphic Arts annual design competition. Kolégramdesign, a graphic design firm, won in the book design category for its work on "La Chambre des cultures," for Axe Néo-7, an artists centre in Gatineau, QC. The American Design Awards gave a gold award to the Argyle Rowland web site, which was designed by Scott Madore of AKA Communications.
