BANK OF MONTREAL BEGINS MASTERCARD CAMPAIGN

Bank of Montreal began a three-day direct-to-consumer campaign for its Mosaik MasterCard yesterday. The marketing effort is running in 15 bank branches in Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. Promotional workers known as "Putting Perfectionists" at these branches will demonstrate golf putting techniques and distribute information about the Mosaik MasterCard. Customers who apply for a card will be entered in a draw for 10,000 Air Miles. "A golf promotion is the ideal fit with Mosaik MasterCard," said Michelle Field, vice-president of retail cardholder products and marketing at Bank of Montreal. "Every golfer customizes their game to suit the changing demands of the course. By using a Mosaik MasterCard, they can also customize and modify their credit card to suit their changing needs." The campaign was developed by APEX Public Relations of Toronto.
