ROYAL BANK REVIEWS NATIONAL ADVERTISING ACCOUNT

Royal Bank of Canada has begun a review of its national advertising account. The review is being conducted by AAR Partners of New York. The national advertising account encompasses English-language creative advertising. Sponsorship marketing, brand design, merchandising design and media buying will remain with MacLaren McCann of Toronto, the incumbent firm on the national advertising account. According to Beja Rodeck, senior manager of media and public relations for Royal Bank, MacLaren has been invited to participate in the review. A decision is expected in mid-October.
