UNSAFE DRIVING CAMPAIGN BEGINS IN BRITISH COLUMBIA
By Adnews Staff
The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia has begun a campaign intended to reduce speeding and aggressive driving. According to Doug Henderson, the organization's marketing and communications co-ordinator for the Fraser Valley region, the campaign is an annual initiative run jointly with community groups and local police. Advertising will break this weekend in community newspapers, on radio, on billboards and in theatres, aimed at drivers in the Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver Areas. The tagline is, "It wouldn't kill you to slow down." The campaign, which was created in-house, will run through July and August.
