DUNKIN DONUTS UP FOR GRABS
By Adnews Staff
Dunkin' Donuts of Randolph, Massachusetts has put its account up for grabs after 18 years with Ally & Gargano of New York. The review won't affect Canada because "we have different needs than the U.S.," Canadian company spokesperson Chris Robertson told Adnews yesterday. Canadian advertising is done by PALM Publicité of Montreal. Dunkin' Donuts has 220 outlets in Canada. Included in the review is the incumbent, and the company's in-house agency John Dough Advertising. Boston-based marketing consulting company Pile & Company is conducting the search. A decision is expected in early fall. Dunkin' Donuts is owned by Allied Domecq.
