NEW SOUTHAM PUBLISHERS

Calgary Sun publisher Ken King has moved to the same position at the Calgary Herald. He replaces Kevin Petersen who resigned last year. King had previously worked at the Herald in advertising sales, as well as for the Prince George Citizen and the Edmonton Journal. The papers are all owned by Southam Inc. of Toronto. Earlier this month Southam finance vice-president Pat Collins was named publisher of The Hamilton Spectator in Ontario. In December, Windsor Star editor Jim Bruce moved into the publisher's chair.
