AT&T PICKS PUBLICIS

AT&T Canada has retained Publicis as its new advertising agency. Grey Worldwide and Gee, Jeffery & Partners, both of Toronto, were also considered, according to May Chong, director of corporate communications for AT&T Canada. The incumbent agency was Young & Rubicam. Part of the account work, Chong said, will include a campaign for a new brand expected to debut in September. Brand strategy for AT&T Canada is developed by New York-based Lippincott Mercer.
