DORITOS TO SPONSOR JUNO FAN CHOICE AWARD

Frito Lay Canada's Doritos brand will sponsor the JUNO Fan Choice Award this year. The inaugural award winner will be determined by fan votes at <http://www.junos.ctv.ca>. Celine Dion, Diana Krall, Avril Lavigne, Nickelback and Shania Twain are the nominees. Doritos' sponsorship of the Fan Choice Award is being promoted with a marketing program consisting of specially marked packaging and TV advertising. A contest component will award ten voters with trips to Ottawa and tickets to the JUNO Awards on April 6. Of the ten winners, one will be chosen as the Doritos Ultimate Fan and will present the Fan Choice award live onstage during the broadcast of the show. The in-store materials, including the special packaging and displays, were created by Capital C of Toronto. The television advertising was created by CTV. Public relations are being handled by Fleishman-Hillard of Toronto.
