The creative complies with Canadian regulations which state that either the name of a prescription medicine or the associated medical condition it treats can be named in an ad, but not both. In the commercial the Viagra name and logo and the words "Talk to your doctor" are displayed. According to Silvie Letendre, senior manager of corporate affairs for Pfizer, the ad maintains the style of Viagra's "Good Morning" brand awareness campaign which ran last year. That ad was set to the song "Good Morning" and showed a man in an upbeat mood walking to work. It also displayed the Viagra name and logo and the words "Talk to you doctor." The new commercial will run for several weeks, Letendre said. Public relations for Viagra are handled by Strategic Objectives of Toronto.
