VOLKSWAGEN BREAKS NEW GOLF CAMPAIGN

Palm Publicité Marketing of Montreal has begun a new multimedia advertising campaign for the Association of Quebec Volkswagen Dealerships. A 30-second French-language television commercial and a 30-second English-language radio commercial are running in Quebec. Both ads involve a pregnant woman who goes into labour while out shopping. A Golf owner drives her to the hospital. Between contractions the woman makes remarks about the vehicle. At the hospital the woman makes excuses to delay getting out of the car. The campaign's print creative, also running in Quebec in English and French, uses the headline "Unclonable" and gives a list of features that illustrate the character of the car.
