BC CREDIT UNIONS INTRODUCE NEW TAGLINE

Credit Union Central of British Columbia is introducing its new tagline, "People Before Profits," to consumers via a television advertising campaign. The line is featured in two 30-second commercials created by Vancouver's Wasserman & Partners Advertising. The first ad broke in British Columbia yesterday. It depicts various newlyweds from the 1950s, the 1960s and today. The ad then shows an elderly tycoon and his bored young wife. The copy "When it's just about the money, you can always tell" appears, along with a toll-free telephone number and a Web site address. The second ad will be released in March. The television advertising will be accompanied by print campaigns in June and September, according to Maria Doyle, director of marketing and research for the Credit Union Central of British Columbia.
