ICA, GLOBE AND MAIL RELEASE MARKETING POCKET BOOK
By Adnews Staff
The Institute of Communications and Advertising and The Globe and Mail have released a 200-page reference book called "The Canadian Marketing Pocket Book." The firms used the resources of the World Advertising Research Centre, based in the U.K., to compile the book's content, which includes sections on geography, economics, demographics, consumers, consumer markets, retail and distribution, advertising spending and media. U.S. and international data is also included, as well as a directory of trade associations. The book is being distributed to advertising agencies, advertisers, federal government MPs and senior government officials. Copies are also available through the ICA Web site.
