QUEBECOR SIGNS CONTRACTS IN LATIN AMERICA

Montreal-based commercial printer Quebecor has signed contracts with a number of customers in Latin America. During one long-term agreement with Telefónica de España, the comapny print white and yellow page directories in Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Peru. Quebecor World already prints directories in Spain for Telefónica. Quebeor has signed a multi-year agreement with Reader's Digest to print monthly, quarterly and special edition magazines that will be distributed in Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. Quebecor World also produces books for Reader's Digest in Mexico. The printer has formed a new agreement with Avon to manufacture catalogs to be distributed in Peru, Chile and Bolivia. Avon is already of a customer of Quebecor World in North America and Europe. Quebecor has also signed a long-term contract with Editora Abril to print cover inserts and short-run sections for Abril's magazines in Sao Paulo. Quebecor World has done work for Abril for a number of years.
