BURGER KING BEGINS BEYBLADE PREMIUM PROGRAM

Burger King Restaurants of Canada began a new Beyblades premium program yesterday. The Toronto-based burger chain, along with animation company Nelvana and youth network YTV, will distribute a Beyblade action figure and a spinning top with each Kids meal and Big Kids meal. The initiative also includes a contest called the "BK Spin & Win." The winner will be the voice of a future guest character on the Beyblade series. The joint promotion includes 15-second billboards running for four weeks on Teletoon and YTV. Ten-second billboards will begin a three-week run on Monday. In-restaurant materials are also in use. The broadcast materials were developed by Corus Entertainment. the in-store materials were created by DraftWorldwide of Chicago and produced by Kickstart Marketing & Design of Toronto.
