YAK COMMUNICATIONS SIGNS SPOKESPERSON

YAK Communications has signed Baseball Hall of Fame member Rollie Fingers as a spokesperson for the company's expansion in the U.S. The Toronto-based telecommunications company operates in Las Vegas, Florida and California. The details of the agreement have not been determined. Advertising for YAK is done by Mitchell Shore Creative Services of Toronto. Public relations are handled by The Communications Group of Toronto. Fingers played for the Oakland A's, San Diego Padres and Milwaukee Brewers during his career. In 1974 he won the World Series MVP award while with the Oakland A's and in 1981 received the American League Baseball MVP award and the Cy Young award while with the Milwaukee Brewers.
