MAPLE LEAF SPORTS SIGNS FOUR SPONSORS

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment of Toronto has signed four new sponsors for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors and Air Canada Centre: Effem, Frito Lay Canada, Campell's Soup and the Fairmont Royal York. The Royal York has become the official and exclusive hotel of the Maple Leafs, Raptors and Air Canada Centre. The hotel will receive in-arena signage, print ads and participation in a promotion during which contest winners will travel with the Maple Leafs. Effem has become the official confectionery supplier of the Air Canada Centre. The company produces the Snickers, Mars, M&M's, Twix, Skittles and Starburst brands. Snickers will now be the official candy bar of the Leafs and the Raptors. The candy company will receive rink board signage during Leafs games and basket stanchion pad advertising during Raptors games. A Snickers Jam Van and a Snickers High 5 Club will also be developed. Frito Lay has been made the official snack food supplier of the three Maple Leaf Sports properties. The company will have displays and racks at arena concession counters and participation in Leafs and Raptors promotion nights. Campbell's will receive courtside signage at Raptors games and rink boards at Leafs games. The company will also have the use of the arena for trade nights and a presence on mapleleafs.com and Leafs TV.
