PEPSICO EXPANDS GATORADE SPONSORSHIP OF NBA

PepsiCo Beverages has extended the marketing agreement between its Gatorade brand and the National Basketball Association. The U.S marketing agreement the two organizations formed in July will become a global association that will include NBA-themed advertising and promotions, participation in NBA pre-season games and grassroots events and retail NBA-themed merchandising programs. Gatorade will also develop packaging and in-store materials featuring NBA players Vince Carter and Michael Jordan.
