R&S STRAIGHTENS OUT IMPOTENCE
By Adnews Staff
Pharmacia & Upjohn of Toronto is waiting for final government approval on its drug to treat impotence, called Caverject. A pre-introductory print campaign began this week to promote the drug to doctors. It focuses on the issues concerning impotence and the company's research and developments. The tagline for the advertising is "The Treatment Of Erectile Dysfunction...Should Be Straightened Out." Rubel & Schwab Communications created the campaign. The Toronto agency was hired last month to handle advertising for Caverject in a competition with Healthwise Creative Resources Group and LBJ Advertising, both of Toronto. Male impotence affects one in 10 men over 40.
