COORS CANADA PROMOTES TALKING CAN & CAP ANNIVERSARY

Coors Canada and Maxim magazine are promoting the 10th anniversary of the Coors Light Talking Can & Cap contest, in which talking cans and bottles inform consumers that they have won prizes. Beginning this week specially marked cases Coors Light will roll out nationally, excluding Quebec. Talking cans and bottles will reward 100 winners with invitations to an exclusive Coors Light Maxim Party. Consumers who find a talking can or bottle will receive three invitations to the party, which will take place in June 2003 in Toronto. The winners will also receive a two-night hotel stay and $100 in spending money. A 30-second television commercial created by Marketing Drive Worldwide of Toronto is promoting the contest. It depicts what two men will do to attend the party. It will run for six weeks, accompanied by full-page ads in the November and December Canadian editions of Maxim, as well as a radio-merchandising program and in-store materials.
