MONEYSENSE.CA HOLDS RE-DESIGN CONTEST

MoneySense.ca is promoting the re-design of its Web site with an online contest. The new site, which debuted in September, contains expanded content areas and improved investing tools. The re-design was also intended to make navigating the site easier. The contest, called "Discover Your MoneySense.ca," began on Tuesday and will run until Nov. 11. Entrants must collect game pieces from different areas of the site to win weekly prizes of $1,000 cash. The grand prize is two nights for two at any Starwood Hotels & Resorts property in Canada and 100,000 Starpoints for the winner's Starwood Preferred Guest account. The contest is being supported with full-page ads in Canadian Business, Maclean's, Profit, MoneySense and Today's Parent magazines. The contest advertising was done by Toronto-based Zoggen. The re-design of MoneySense.ca was done in-house. Public relations for the introduction of the new Web site are being handled by APEX Public Relations of Toronto.
