BELL GLOBEMEDIA PROMOTES HURST TO CTV NEWS PRESIDENT

Bell Globemedia has promoted Robert Hurst to president of CTV News. He replaces Kirk LaPointe, who resigned to pursue other interests. Hurst will be responsible for CTV's new operations and information programming. He was previously senior vice-president and general manager of BC CTV.
