TBWA CREATES PRINT CAMPAIGN FOR ONTARIO CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY

The Ontario Division of the Canadian Cancer Society began a new print campaign this week that encourages smokers to get support and advice from its toll-free Smoker's Helpline. The campaign was created by TBWA\Chiat\Day of Toronto. Its two executions display images of smokers expressing thoughts of quitting in "bubbles" over their heads. According to the agency, its objectives for the campaign are to create awareness of the Helpline and to motivate smokers who are thinking of quitting to call. The advertising will run in major market Ontario newspapers through the fall and winter. The tagline is "When you're ready to talk, we're here to help you quit."
