PEARSON AIRPORT ARCHITECTS RETAIN CARBONE SMOLAN

A consortium of architects working on the new terminal at Lester B. Pearson International Airport has hired New York-based Carbone Smolan Agency for an advertising assignment. The consortium, Airport Architects Canada, has used the agency before. Carbone Smolan will develop a concept for advertising in the new terminal, said Steve Shaw, vice-president of corporate affairs for the Greater Toronto Airport Authority. The new terminal has been under construction since December 1998. It is scheduled to open in October 2003.
