ABC PARTNERS WITH MCDONALD'S FOR HAPPY HOUR

ABC and McDonald's Corp. are preparing a new fall promotion to support the network's "Happy Hour" block of family programming, according to a Reuters report. The promotion will run from Sept. 20 to 29. A sweepstakes component will run from Sept. 23 to Oct. 7. As part of the initiative, the report said, approximately 13,000 McDonald's restaurants in the U.S. will make use of "Happy Hour" themed packaging, in-restaurant materials and tray liners carrying questions from the "ABC Happy Hour Quiz." ABC's "Happy Hour" programming block is seen weekdays from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
