BRICK BREWERY BEGINS OUTDOOR ADVERTISING, PUTS LAGER IN STUBBY BOTTLE

Brick Brewery of Waterloo, ON has begun a new outdoor advertising campaign in the Greater Toronto Area. This is the first time the brewer has used transit ads in its marketing. Bus and shelter creative began running last week, promoting Brick's Waterloo Dark, Amber and Premium Lager beers. One execution shows company founder Jim Brickman with a beer foam moustache and the copy "Love Beer. Drink Brick." A second ad depicts Brickman being showered in beer with the same headline. The advertising, created in-house, will run for two months. It will be accompanied by ongoing radio advertising.
In related news, the company will begin distributing its Brick Lager in stubby bottles in mid-July. Marketing support will take place at that time. This will be the second brand to be distributed in these bottles. In April Brick began distributing its Red Cap beer in stubby bott
