TRANSCONTINENTAL, BELL GLOBEMEDIA TO LAUNCH NEW CONSUMER MAGAZINE

Transcontinental Media and Bell Globemedia Interactive have created a new lifestyle magazine called Click: Smart Living. The bi-monthly publication is aimed at consumers who are interested in improving the lives at work or at home using technology. The circulation of the magazine will be approximately 500,000. Of those copies, 35,000 will be distributed to some newsstands on July 3. The remainder will be mailed to a list of BCE customers who are pre-disposed to technology in their lives, according to Doug Maybee, senior consultant at Temple Scott Associates of Toronto, which is handling public relations for the magazine. BCE is the parent company of Bell Globemedia Interactive.
