AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL AD TO RUN NATIONALLY
By Adnews Staff
A print ad created pro-bono for the Toronto office of Amnesty International will run nationally in Canada. The ad was created by Axmith McIntyre Wicht of Toronto as part of the human rights organization's Campaign Against Violence. It shows two fingers of a hand forming a peace sign. One of the fingers has been cut off at the knuckle. The message, according to the agency, is that even in a world of torture, there is hope. The ad will run in newspapers and magazines and on 1,300 outdoor locations donated by Toronto-based NewAd.
