CANON DEVELOPS NEW ADVERTISING

Canon Canada of Mississauga will begin a new brand advertising campaign this month. The print initiative will run nationally in general interest and business magazines including Time, Maclean's, Report on Business, Canadian House and Home, Canadian Gardening, Canadian Geographic, Coup de Pouce, L'actualite and Les Affaires. It includes single- and double-page ads which display the headline, "The Leader in Digital Imaging from Input to Output." Pictures of the company's cameras, scanners, printers and copiers appear alongside and underneath an image of a young girl and a woman in a field. The tagline is, "Canon Know How." The campaign was created by DCC Communications of Toronto and will run for six months. Public relations for Canon are handled by National Public Relations.
