ANCIENT COAST WINES BEGINS RADIO CAMPAIGN

Ancient Coast Wines of Mississauga is promoting its partnership with the Bruce Trail Association with a series of four 30-second radio commercials. The association is a non-profit group that works to maintain the trails that run along the Niagara Escarpment from Queenston, ON to Tobermory, ON. Ancient Coast Wines' are made from grapes grown in the Niagara Peninsula. The radio ads feature Brock University earth sciences professor Dr. Keith Tinkler, Brock University geologist Dr. Ward Chesworth, University of Toronto climatologist Dr. Danny Harvey and naturalist Nelson Maher, who describe the importance of the Niagara Escarpment. The campaign will run for three weeks during May, June and September on Toronto stations The Mix 99.9FM, CHUM-FM 104.5 and CHFI-FM 98.1. Ancient Coast Wines is also printing Escarpment information on its bottle labels and neck tags. The winery has also begun public relations activities. The radio advertising was created by Gee, Jeffery & Partners of Toronto. Public relations are being handled by Lewis Carroll Communications of Toronto.
