KEY MEDIA DEBUTS TEEN FASHION MAGAZINE

Toronto-based Key Media will release a companion publication to its Fashion magazine this summer. Fashion18 will target Canadian girls 12 to 17 years of age. The magazine will cover new products, places to shop, trends, beauty advice and health information. The first issue, which will be distributed at the end of July, will have a circulation of 150,000. Of those, 50,000 will be sent to newsstands, 75,000 will be distributed as part of the Pepsi Taste Tour and 25,000 will be given away at Cadillac Fairview shopping malls in Canada. Beginning in 2003, Fashion18 will be published quarterly.
