FUJIFILM CAMPAIGN ENCOURAGES FUN AND CREATIVITY
By Adnews Staff
Fuji Photo Film Canada Inc. of Mississauga began a new advertising campaign on Thursday that encourages Canadians to do away with conventional picture taking habits. The message of the television and print advertising is that photography should be fun and creative. This is an extension of Fujifilm's "Open Your Eyes" campaign that ran last year, which encouraged consumers to find photographic possibilities in every day surroundings. The new 30-second television commercial promotes Fujifilm's digital cameras. The television advertising will run for seven weeks on Canadian networks. It will return for a five-week run in November. Print advertising will run over the next year in magazines including Photo Life, Sympatico NetLife, Shift, Today's Parent, Canadian Geographic, Coup de Pouce, Cuisine and Toronto Life. Advertising for Fujifilm is done by John St. of Toronto. Public relations are handled by APEX Public Relations of Toronto.
