CAMERON'S BREWING COMPANY BREAKS FIRST AD CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
Cameron's Brewing Company of Toronto will break its first advertising campaign this week. The radio campaign, created by Due North Communications of Toronto, consists of two 30-second spots. Both focus on the "obsession with quality" of the company's brew master and president, Cameron Howe. The first portrays a Bavarian hops dealer who is upset about Howe's choice of fine hops. The second presents Howe's reaction to his accountant's attempt to convince Howe to buy cheaper hops. Both ads end with the tagline "Cameron's. Brewed by a connoisseur, not an accountant." The campaign will run on Toronto radio station CFNY through the summer and will conclude with an on-air giveaway of a Cameron's Retro Beer Fridge. The company's Cream Ale, Auburn Ale and Lager are sold in nine-packs at LCBO outlets, Ontario Beer Stores and some bars, restaurants and clubs.
