INTRAWEST PROMOTES TREMBLANT-LES-EAUX WITH ONLINE CONTEST

Intrawest Corporation of Vancouver is running an online contest as part of a marketing campaign to promote its Tremblant-Les-Eaux property. The campaign is intended to raise awareness and generate sales leads for the development of homes that the company is building near Mont Tremblant in Quebec. The contest began in February with a direct mail campaign in which 24,000 postcards were sent to residents in Canada and the U.S. The postcards directed recipients to a Web site where they could enter to win two nights' accommodation at the new property along with two days of skiing or golfing and $1,000 to spend in Tremblant stores. Contestants can increase their chances of winning by referring their friends. The contest closes on May 15. It was created by N5R, a Toronto company founded by Roman Bodnarchuk, now chief executive officer. N5R provides online digital marketing services including contest development and e-mail marketing. Advertising for Intrawest is done by Ryan & Deslauriers of Montreal.
