LABATT 50 DEBUTS NEW LOOK
By Adnews Staff
Labatt Breweries of Canada has released a new bottle design for the Labatt 50 brand in Ontario. Cases of six, 12 and 24 bottles of Labatt 50 will use the new design which uses washable ink applied to the bottles instead of paper labels. An outdoor marketing campaign is promoting the new packaging, consisting of a series of billboards displaying the bottle and the tagline "The beer that refuses to be labeled." The company's delivery trucks also display the new look. The campaign and bottle design were created by Mosaic Marketing of Toronto. Public relations for Labatt are handled by Weber Shandwick Worldwide.
