SUNRICH VALLEY INTRODUCES ORGANIC DAIRY PRODUCTS

Sunrich Valley of Norval, ON has released a line of dairy products called "mu organics". The line will be sold in Canadian health food and grocery stores. The products, aimed at the mainstream consumer market, include an organic churned butter and a line of organic milk. According to Sunrich Valley, the line will expand over the next three months to include cheese and cultured products. A marketing campaign to promote the line will include trade advertising, in-store sampling, public relations and promotion at events such as this weekend's Good Food Festival in Toronto. The tagline is "It's nu, it's mu!" The product packaging displays photographs of people in "cow-like" poses. "With mu, we're brushing aside the stereotypes of what an organic milk should look like," said Richard Graham, president of Sunrich Valley. The advertising and packaging was created by Grey Worldwide and Studio Zoo. Public relations are being handled by Argyle Rowland Worldwide. All three firms are based in Toronto.
