A&E NETWORK NAMES TBWA CREATIVE AGENCY

A&E Network of New York has appointed TBWAChiatDay its national creative agency of record. TBWA will handle creative and strategic work for A&E including the network's documentary and drama series, original movies and the Biography series. TBWA won the account over Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer/EURO RSCG, also of New York, in an agency review. Not affected by this appointment is the network's relationship with Horizon Media, which handles media buying. The network will also continue its relationship with MacKinnon Calderwood Advertising of Mississauga. The agency has worked for A&E since 1994, handling creative adaptation and media.
