PALM SUPPORTS NEW PRODUCTS WITH TV CAMPAIGN

Palm Inc. of Santa Clara, CA is promoting three new handheld computer models, the colour m130 and m515 and the wireless i705, with a television advertising campaign. The campaign, created by AKQA of San Francisco, includes a 30-second television commercial on national and cable networks in the U.S. According to AKQA creative directors Bob Pullum and Adam Lau, the ad uses three chapters to show how each of the products can enhance the lifestyle of a user and to show that no matter what a user wants a Palm device can help do it better. The campaign will run for five weeks.
