MEDICUS AND MEDIAVEST TEAM UP

MediaVest Canada Worldwide has teamed up with Medicus Intercon Canada to create a specialty planning and buying group aimed at the pharmaceutical industry. MediaVest is part of the Starcom MediaVest Group of media companies. Medicus is part of Medicus Group International, a healthcare communications group. Both are owned by Chicago-based b/com3. The new media group will be part of MediaVest. It will be headed by Linda Forbes, who has moved from Medicus to become MediaVest's media supervisor of pharmaceuticals. In addition to planning and buying services, the new group will also offer research, modeling, analysis and measurement tools.
