TRANSCONTINENTAL HIRED BY ESSAIM GROUP

Montreal-based Transcontinental Group has signed an eight-year contract with Essaim Group of Boucherville, Quebec. According to the $30 million deal, Transcontinental will handle the printing of flyers for Essaim's chain of drug stores. The commercial printer will also handle distribution of 775,000 weekly flyers. Essaim operates 200 pharmacies and sales outlets in Quebec, northern Ontario and the Atlantic provinces.
