By Adnews Staff
Global Knowledge has appointed Environics Communications to lead its communications initiatives in Canada. Global Knowledge is an independent provider of IT education and certification programs. The company offers about 700 courses in 60 international locations for companies including Cisco, Microsoft, Nortel, Oracle and Enterasys. Environics received the account after approaching the company. Richard Gordon, vice-president and general manager of Ottawa-based Global Knowledge Canada, said, "Environics has an acute understanding of how best to translate our business strategy and objectives into a communications program tailored to resonate with our unique Canadian audience." The agency has already begun working on a national public relations program to promote Global Knowledge to Canadians.
