CURRENT TECHNOLOGY HIRES ULLRICH SCHADE

Vancouver-based Current Technology Corp. has appointed Ullrich Schade and Associates its public relations agency. Current Technology is the developer of Electrotrichogenesis, a device for the treatment of hair loss. Vancouver-based Ullrich Schade is a marketing communications agency that specializes in promoting technology industry clients to the media. The agency had previously done work for Current Technology and won the account based on that history. Ullrich Schade will develop a North American media relations program for Current Technology to raise public awareness of ETG. The program will also promote the upcoming publication of the results of a study on the reduction of chemotherapy-induced hair loss in women with breast cancer. "USA will be able to provide Current Technology with the broad-based media campaign that is needed to increase awareness about ETG's new application as a treatment for chemotherapy-induced hair loss," said Current Technology president Anne Kramer. According to Kramer, the company's goal is to let cancer patients around the world know that a clinically tested treatment exists for preventing or reducing hair loss during chemotherapy.
