TTC HIRES WOLF GROUP AND CAMPBELL, MICHENER AND LEE
By Adnews Staff
The Toronto Transit Commission has given The Wolf Group and Campbell, Michener and Lee its creative advertising assignment. The TTC came to the decision after meeting with a shortlist of eight agencies in a review that began in October. The Wolf Group, Campbell, Michener and Lee and a third agency, MHZ, had been chosen as finalists. Originally 23 agencies expressed an interest in the business. According to the TTC, the commission's intent was to retain two agencies, a primary and secondary. The Wolf Group has been appointed the primary agency and Campbell Michener and Lee has been made the secondary agency. The firms will handle assignments on a project by project basis. The contract is for a two-year term from Feb. 1, 2002 to Jan. 31, 2004. The TTC's current three-year contract with John St. expires at the end of this month.
